Congratulations to The XX

Well deserved winners of the Mercury Music Prize.


A strong set of albums to choose from this year but The XX was clearly the best of the bunch.  E-quality Musics album of 2009 is such a sparse, emotive record with simply stunning vocals from Romy and Oliver.  America will love these guys. World domination beckons (if they can be bothered). Genuinely excited to see this band develop further.
